No. you will not receive a new certificate of incorporation however, you will recive a certificate of name change. The certificate of name change will show the old and new company name, company number, date of name change etc.

Who do I need to inform that we have changed our company name?

You need to inform other organizations, such as suppliers, customers, or regulatory bodies such as ZIMRA to update their records with the new company name.

Are there any extra costs?

You need to pay an extra US$15.00 for file search.
